For service, repair, or any questions regarding your KOMBU® Fermenstation, please contact us at thekombu.com/contact DO NOT mail the product back to the manufacturer or bring it to a service center without first talking to a KOMBU customer service representative.

1-YEAR WARRANTY

This warranty is valid only for:

• The original consumer.

• Purchases through authorized retailers.

• Claims submitted with the original sales receipt.

KOMBU® warrants this product against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a one-year period after the original date of consumer purchase.

If the product should become defective within the warranty period, or you have questions regarding warranty or service, visit us at thekombu.com/contact and submit a request.

This warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from: 

• Use of the product for non-household or unintended purposes, including misuse, abuse, or electrical disturbances.

• Failure to follow the safety precautions, warnings, or instructions provided in the user manual.

• Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to stains and discoloration.

• Service, modification, or repair performed by any unauthorized individual or entity.

• Operation with incorrect electrical current or voltage.

• Use of the product in environments subject to extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, or other hazardous conditions.

• Attempting to ferment substances other than liquid as intended by the productʼs design.

Returns

If you’d like to return a product that does not require warranty support, most items may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Pre-order Return Policy

Our pre-order return policy allows returns within 30 days from the date of delivery.

To be eligible:

• Products must be returned in their original condition

• All original packaging and accessories must be included

• Return instructions must be followed

Failure to follow return instructions or returning a product in a different condition may result in deductions from the refund.

KOMBU reserves the right to decline returns in cases of damage, misuse, fraud, or abuse.

Important Packaging Note

Please keep your original packaging during the return window.

Original packaging is required to ensure safe transit. If packaging is missing or unusable, a $35 packaging fee may apply so we can send the proper materials for you to package up your return.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fees

Shipping and restocking fees help cover freight, inspection, and processing costs.

Non-electric products - $10

Fermenstation F01 - $25

We’re unable to provide return labels for international orders. Customers outside the U.S. are responsible for arranging and covering return shipping.

Refunds

Once your return arrives at our Returns Center:

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

Your bank may take an additional 5–7 business days to post the refund

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and will not exceed the original amount paid.

Final Sale Items Not Eligible for Return

• Kickstarter and Pledge Box pre-orders

These products are still covered under our warranty policy if a functional or cosmetic issue arises.
